      Subject:  COMPLIANCE TO THE NCDC GUIDELINES ON COVID 19.

In the light of the covid-19 pandemic and the fact that the new virus is widespread, we are issuing an alarm of the need to ensure compliance to the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) guildlines and social measures to limit the continued spread of covid-19.

Since the beginning of December 2020 to date in January 2021, Nigeria has recorded a consistent increase in the number of confirmed cases of coronavirus disease in the country. On the 10th of January, 2021, Nigeria reached the “100,000 cases milestone”. As at 17th February 2021, there are 149,369 confirmed cases of covid-19 in Nigeria, 125,722 discharged and 1,787 dead.

As an immediate response to protect the health and safety of our workforce, you are reminded of the need to comply with the following Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) guidelines and recommendations to protect your health and those around you:

 Wash your hands often with soap and running water for at least 20 seconds, especially after you have been in a public place, or after blowing your nose, coughing, or sneezing. If soap and water are not readily available, use a hand sanitizer that contains at least 60 percent alcohol. Cover all surfaces of your hands and rub them together until they feel dry. Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth with unwashed hands and always use face mask.
